The leader of the Battle Brawlers returns from the previous season. He’s only 15 years old but he’s got intensity and passion. He loves Bakugan and Brawling more than anything else. Dan is more street smart than book smart, and he often jumps feet first into adventures. He is quick to react in situations and at the same time, quick to temper.

Shun, a 16-year-old brawler, returns to help Dan & Marucho after falling through a rip in dimensions. He’s still the strong, silent type, very cocky and a master at Bakugan. Shun is now a ninja in-training and a very dangerous opponent. There are layers to Shun’s strategy and he uses misdirection and is cunning in his attacks. Shun battles with Ingram, a flying Ventus Bakugan, and his Trap Bakugan is Hylash.

Marucho also returns from the previous season. He overhears Drago and Dan’s conversation about going to New Vestroia alone and follows them through the portal. A clever, 13-year-old Brawlers, he is wise beyond his years and a walking encyclopedia. Marucho constantly studies the strategies behind Bakugan Battles, devising battle strategy from in-depth data analysis.

At 16 years old, Ace is the second in command with The Bakugan Battle Brawlers. He is handsome and collected, but often sarcastic. Ace is not a deep thinker and often says things he regrets. Because of their similar personalities, there is ongoing tension between Dan and Ace. He secretly has a crush on Mira and is jealous of her attention to Dan. His main Bakugan is Percival, a Darkus Bakugan and his Trap Bakugan is Falcon Fly.

Baron is a gentle-natured and loyal member of The Bakugan Battle Brawlers. Though Baron is young and naïve, he is passionate and zealous for the game. He idolizes the original Battle Brawlers from Earth, and is completely in awe of Dan’s legendary abilities. Baron battles with Haos Bakugan and is partnered with Nemus. His Trap Bakugan is Piercian.

At 16, Mira is the Leader of The Battle Brawlers. A warrior at heart, wise and patient, she makes a strong leader. Although her heart may be her greatest weakness, as she is often distracted with thinking about the family she has lost. Her greatest wish is to find her missing brother, whom she suspects may be Spectra. Her father, Professor Clay, is one of the most brilliant scientific minds working on enslaving The Bakugan.
