Fed up with Courage’s incompetence, Eustace seeks a professional dog trainer. The Perfectionist appears, an old Victorian schoolteacher who carries a large wooden ruler and speaks in a commanding tone.

At his mother’s bidding, the three-headed son of the Chicken from Outer Space returns to Earth to avenge his father and destroy Courage.

Visiting an aquarium, Eustace boasts loudly that he can swim better than the dolphin in the water show. After a humiliating loss, Eustace becomes obsessively determined to win. He challenges the dolphin to a rematch, offering Muriel as the prize if he loses.

While taking a tour of the Great Wall of China, Muriel is abducted by the Empress Dowager of China. The secret source of the Empress’ power, the magic silkworm has transcended to another world, and the only way to contact it is through the bones of a genuine soul: Muriel.

A masked stranger named Kitty arrives at the farmhouse saying her life has been threatened by Mad Dog, an evil gangster jealous of her friendship with his girlfriend, Bunny.

At a country fair, a mysterious paper cutter offers to make full-size cameo silhouettes of Muriel and Eustace. Back at the farmhouse, the silhouettes come to life and steal the couples’ souls.

The truck crashes into a swamp one night and Muriel loses her new locket in the murky water. The Swamp Monster finds it, sees Muriels’ picture and believes she is his long-last love.

Le Quack replaces Muriel’s cookie recipe with one that calls for “rare Swedish vinegar.” When Muriel looks to find some, Le Quack conveniently arrives to take her to Sweden in a hot air balloon, but his real plan is use Muriel to steal money from the Piggy Bank of Sweden.

Lonely scientist Dr. Gerhardt von Orbison wants friends, so he literally moves the farmhouse next-door to his mansion. While the doctor welcomes his new neighbors, his house doesn’t, preferring to keep Dr von Orbison all the itself. Courage must defend his family the house’s attacks.

Locked in a junkyard, the family find themselves at the mercy of evil rats who perform a macabre dance to music from “The Nutcracker Suite.” The rats capture Muriel and Eustace and prepare to cook them for a feast, forcing Courage to come to the rescue.

Courage calls in the help of Dr. Le Quack after Muriel comes down with an accident-induced amnesia.

The happy threesome must deal with an evil old man’s playful shadow, who loves pulling pranks on people.
